America is great

President Donald Trump says he wants to “Make America great again.” I have to wonder why he thinks America is not great.

America takes care of its poor, especially children who did not choose to be born. Our governments have food stamps, Medicaid, housing support, etc. for the poor. Our federal government has social security and Medicare for seniors. Americans donate hundreds of millions of dollars every year to nonprofits such as the American Cancer Society, children’s hospitals etc. We have the highest standard of living of any country in the world. We have free public-school education. Why does he think America isn’t great?
